What will we do with your photos?
Good question. You can,
of course, upload your photos to hundreds (or thousands) of different
sites and get nice prints. And you should! But here at
Babylovables, when we receive your photos, that's just the beginning.
- We'll start by correcting for under or over exposure, correcting the contrast, and setting the lighting ratio.
- Then we will retouch every photo.
What needs retouching on a baby, you may ask? While babies
don't normally have zits and wrinkles, they usually have some level of
"binky rash", rash around the lips from licking and drooling, blotchy
skin, dry skin "flakies", and puffy eyes. After spending years
working on baby faces, our artists have seen it all!
- We will enhance your baby's eyes. This includes
correcting runny or watery eyes, removing dried "eye boogers",
brightening the whites (but not to the point of looking abnormal), and
adding or correcting catch lights. This one step alone will make your photos look very professional. You will be amazed!
- We will then apply a softening technique to your
baby's skin. This has to be done very carefully, because it can
easily be overdone, making your baby look "ghostly".
- When appropriate, we will apply a soft "vignette"
around the edge of the photo, to help draw the eye into the main
subject of the image.
- Finally, we will crop your photo to appropriately fit with all of the other photos in your collection.
To sum up, your photos will look like they have been taken by a professional photographer. And, this service is included, standard, on every photo. You will love them!
